Christian Goodman
P.G.A. Club Professional

Christian has been part of Matlock Golf Club since 1989 when he joined as a junior member working his way to his current position as The Club Professional.

Prior to becoming a Professional, Christian completed a Bsc (Hons) degree in Sport and Recreation Management and then returned to Matlock to undertake his PGA apprenticeship. He qualified as a P.G.A. Class ‘A’ Professional in May 2006 and took over as Head Club Professional in June 2007.

Christian has a wealth of playing experience both as an amateur and as a playing professional in the Midland and Derbyshire PGA Region. His particular strengths are coaching working with a wide range of ages and abilities, from beginners to Derbyshire County players. He uses a mix of traditional and up to the minute coaching techniques and can work on all aspects of your game from putting, short game to swing analysis
