The privately-owned Red House Country Hotel is set in beautiful lawned gardens, on the edge of the Peak District with picturesque views over the Derwent Valley. We pride ourselves on our high standards of service and hospitality, which is why our guests stay with us time after time.
All nine bedrooms are individually decorated and offer direct-dial telephone, free wi-fi, flat screen televisions and a hospitality tray with a wide selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Complimentary bottles of chilled mineral water are available on request. Guests arriving in the afternoon are offered complimentary afternoon tea with homemade cake or biscuits.
Unwind before dinner in our AA rosette restaurant in one of our two sitting rooms, both of which retain original features such as the huge fireplace built from local Hopton stone.
