Matlock has been a favoured destination for society and holiday golfers for many years. Our aim is to make the 'Matlock GC Visitor Experience' one that brings them back time and again.

Corporate days

The combination of a course that challenges but does not overwhelm, a first class catering service and the friendly service provided by our house and professional staff makes Matlock an ideal choice for a first class corporate outing.

Touring parties

If you are the organiser of a golf tour, Matlock makes an attractive base for your group with a host of 'extra-curricular' tourist sites such as Haddon Hall, Chatsworth and the Peak District National Park on the doorstep. The town and surrounding area offers accommodation to appeal to all budgets – camping and caravan sites, pubs with rooms, B&Bs and a range of hotels. Small groups and individuals

Casual visitors and small groups are also welcome and if you're a holiday golfer all on your own our professional staff will do their best to fix you up with a members’ group. Matlock accepts 2-Fore!-1 vouchers on weekdays only. Please note that visitor restrictions apply on weekends, competition days and Bank Holidays. In addition on normal weekdays, the first tee is reserved exclusively for members from 12.30 to 1.30 pm each day unless by special arrangement with the Secretary.
