Captains’ Welcome

Message from Mark Moruzzi, Club Captain and Diane Ball, Ladies’ Section Captain.

As Captains in 2023, Mark and Diane are delighted to welcome you to Matlock Golf Club.

Situated in the North Derbyshire countryside, the views from the elevated tees allow for beautiful panoramic scenes of the course and beyond. The course is in excellent condition all year round and provides challenges and enjoyment for golfers of all ability.

You will receive a warm friendly welcome from all our staff in our recently refurbished clubhouse. During winter 2022 the course has started an extensive bunker and heather regeneration programme to uplift the playing characteristics of the course, I’m sure you will all enjoy the challenge.

Matlock’s membership fees are competitive and has a busy calendar of competitions for members, matches against other local clubs and a full programme of social events. Matlock has membership and playing opportunities to suit all golfers and the Club Manager, Christian Goodman, is available to discuss playing options with both potential members and visitors.
