Darwin Forest Country Park
Award winning Darwin Forest Country Park provides self-catering holiday accommodation in the Derbyshire Peak District and is less than 4 miles away from Matlock golf club.
Darwin Forest’s 5-star luxury lodges are set in mature woodland and sleep between 2 and 8 people. A selection of lodges also have an indulgent hot tub and a range of lodges are pet friendly.
Onsite there is an indoor swimming pool, gym, spa, beauty rooms, indoor and outdoor play areas, mini golf, tennis and the Foresters bar & restaurant. Local residents are welcome to dine in the restaurant or join the leisure centre as a member.

East Lodge Hotel
One of the UK's finest country house hotels, East Lodge has consistently collected awards for outstanding cuisine and service. Set in ten acres of landscaped gardens, it provides guests with the perfect opportunity for an indulgently relaxing country break.
There are 12 luxury suites, individually furnished to the exacting standards guests would expect to find in a hotel of this calibre. Each has a charm of its own, yet still finds space for touches of elegance – like a full SKY package and flat screen TVs in the bathroom.
East Lodge and its famous restaurant boast a range of prestige accolades, including the coveted AA 'Inspectors’ Choice'. Three red stars for 2010 places it within the top 150 UK hotels and it is just one of 48 with a Visit England Gold Award.
As well as welcoming visiting golfers, East Lodge is developing an exclusive package for Matlock Golf Club members. To register your interest in this exclusive offer and benefit from the best deals at East Lodge, call Iain Hardman on 01629 734474 or e-mail email@example.com
One of the main differences that you will see between Sheriff Lodge and other B&Bs that you may have visited is that you don't feel that you are treading on someone else's personal space. Our own accommodation (Kate & Alan, the owners), whilst in the building, is sufficiently separate from guest accommodation - including guest lounge - that you have the hotel experience without the impersonality of a vast army of staff.
All rooms are exquisitely and individually decorated and all feature opulent en-suite facilities. Our a la carte breakfast is, we like to think, second to none. If you choose the entire menu you will get 11 items on a 12-inch plate, which should set you up for a round of golf or more!
Situated a short drive from the golf club and a 5-minute walk from Matlock's town centre, we've earned a range of accolades, including four star Guest House status and coveted Gold Award. We also enjoy top rating on tripadvisor as Matlock's #1 B&B.
