Spring is in the air, and with it comes the start of an exciting new summer season at Matlock Golf Club! This Friday, 21st March, marks the first official day of summer golf. We are delighted to welcome both our valued members and visitors to enjoy the course at its very best.
With winter behind us, we are pleased to announce that winter mats are no longer required for play on the fairways. The lush greens are open, and the course is in excellent condition. The hard work over the past few months has paid off to ensure an exceptional golfing experience for everyone to enjoy in the heart of The Peak District.
New greens that will challenge golfers of all abilities
One of the highlights of this season is the completion of our improvement works on holes 9, 10, and 11. The new greens are now fully established, providing a pristine putting surface that will challenge and delight players of all abilities. In addition, all the new bunkers are now in play, adding fresh challenges and strategic opportunities to enhance your game.
