TrackMan Driving Range Update at Matlock Golf Club

Following our recent announcement about TrackMan arriving at Matlock Golf Club, we wanted to share a clear update on what is happening next. Things are now moving on site, and the TrackMan driving range upgrade will officially be underway in early May.

From 11/05/26, the first phase of work begins on the driving range, marking a major step towards the launch of our new TrackMan driving range at Matlock Golf Club. This stage focuses on the essential electrical upgrades that will power the system.

Trackman Enabling Works Starting Soon

The initial stage of the project focuses on the groundwork needed to support the TrackMan system. This phase is being carried out by Intuitive Electrical, owned by Matlock Golf Club member Damien Adams.

This is not surface level work. It is the infrastructure that makes everything possible. Over the coming weeks, the team will be installing:

  • Power across the driving range
  • Dedicated circuitry for the TrackMan system
  • Full data cabling to support live ball tracking
  • Astro in all bays
  • New walk way
  • Dividers and full refurbishment

This is what allows the technology to perform accurately, consistently and without interruption.

Why This Stage Matters

A TrackMan driving range relies on precision. Every shot tracked, every number displayed and every game played depends on the quality of this installation. Getting the electrical and data side right ensures accurate shot tracking and reliable performance across every bay. All of which ensures a smooth user experience from day one of the launch

This stage might not be the most visible part of the upgrade, but it is one of the most important.

TrackMan Installation Date Confirmed

Once the enabling works are complete, the TrackMan system itself will be installed on 01/06/26.

This is when the range will begin to physically transform into a fully interactive, data-driven environment.

If you have used TrackMan before, you will know what is coming. If not, you are in for something completely different to a standard driving range.

Opening Date in Sight

We are currently working towards a full opening date of 15/06/26. From that point, you will be able to experience a TrackMan driving range in Matlock, right here at the club.

We will confirm final details closer to the time, but everything is on track.

What This Means for Members and Visitors

This update is about progress, but it is also about what is coming next.

Once open, the new range will allow you to:

  • Practice with real performance data
  • Track distances, ball flight and consistency
  • Play interactive games and challenges
  • Enjoy a more social, engaging range experience
  • Benefit from PGA golf lessons with realtime accurate data

It builds on what we already offer with our indoor simulator, giving you a complete setup both indoors and outdoors.

Building Momentum Towards Launch

This phase of work is a big milestone. It shows that the TrackMan driving range at Matlock Golf Club is not just planned, it is happening. Over the next few weeks, you will see more activity around the range as the installation progresses.

We will continue to share updates as we move closer to launch.
